In 2011 Stuart founded the Elliott Scott HR brand in order to be ever more focused on the HR market that he had come to know in great detail. With a journey that began in a small office with Phillip Welburn, now Managing Director for North-Asia, he has managed to expand to multiple locations around the world, finally landing back at his home in London. Being positioned in London allows Stuart to manage the offices around the world.
As the major shareholder of Elliott Scott HR, Stuart remains heavily involved with both the day to day running of the business and the hiring of senior level HR executives. Over the coming years Stuart plans to work ever more closely with Global HR Directors in order to shape and evolve their teams to suit both the culture of the firm and ever changing global landscape.
Stuart began his career as a financial broker in London before he moved to an in-house financial recruitment role for the same firm. In 2004 he started his HR recruitment journey when he moved to Michael Page. In 2006 he was headhunted to move to Hong Kong with an expanding boutique recruitment firm, where he worked for five years and was successfully ranked as Asia’s number 1 HR recruiter in the Asia Money Recruitment Awards for three consecutive years.
Helen is Managing Director and Founder of Charlotte Frank, starting the business in 2012 in Hong Kong and opening the Singapore office in 2015. Helen has been recruiting in both Europe and Asia since 2008 and prior to setting up Charlotte Frank she worked in both the London and Hong Kong offices of a world-leading recruitment consultancy. Since 2010 Helen has specialised in Business Support and HR professionals in Asia Pacific.
Having originally completed her own secretarial studies at London’s Queens College, Kensington, Helen is extremely passionate and knowledgeable about recruiting for this fast moving area and has a genuine understanding of the true needs and requirements of both clients and candidates alike. Helen graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music.
Phillip joined Elliott Scott in 2011 having recruited regionally across industries such as Finance, Manufacturing, FMCG and Pharmaceutical. Phillip has a thorough understanding of the needs and requirements of both candidates and clients across Asia.
Phillip started his recruitment career at Michael Page before moving to Profile Search & Selection to grow their Hong Kong Commerce Desk from scratch, he has joined Elliott Scott to help build the business across Asia.
Kirstin joined Elliott Scott HR in 2016 to expand the company’s global footprint across UK and Europe. Prior to this, Kirstin’s career spans 15 years with Michael Page, a global FTSE 250 recruitment firm where she led the Financial Services and Human Resources teams.
Kirstin has gained invaluable international experience across the UK and Asia Pacific. She worked in Hong Kong for four years and has recently returned to London, focusing on providing strategic direction and advice to HR professionals in the UK and European markets. Kirstin has always provided a very personable, strategic and fast-paced approach to all of her resourcing assignments. Relationships and understanding at a senior level have been built quickly, providing high quality candidates who have proved to be current and future leaders.
Outside of work Kirstin enjoys running having completed half marathons on the Great Wall of China and Angkor Wat in Cambodia. She counters the fitness by eating out with friends and attempting to broaden her knowledge on wines having visited vineyards across Australia, South Africa and France.
Rosh is a customer-focused HR professional with over 10 years HR experience across various industries. He began his career as an HR generalist, and prior to joining Elliott Scott HR, Rosh set-up an HR recruitment desk in Sydney focusing primarily on Mid to Senior HR professionals within Industrial organisations across Australia, South-East Asia and the Middle East. Having relocated to North America, he remains committed to working with the best HR talent globally. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management and Psychology (University of Wollongong, Australia) and a Labor Law and Relations Certificate (University of Sydney, Australia).
Paul is the Managing Director for South East Asia and is developing the business across the region. With over 20 years of experience in the HR and the recruitment field, Paul started his career in the UK before relocating to Asia in 2012. His primary focus lies in senior-level appointments, covering the entire spectrum of HR functions within both local and global multinational organisations.
As a seasoned subject matter expert in HR, Paul boasts a successful track record of leading senior HR searches. He provides profound insights into HR market trends, the talent landscape, and offers astute career planning advice for HR professionals. Prior to joining the Elliott Scott HR business, Paul spent the last six years working in-house as the Global Head of TA for a NASDAQ-listed fintech business, and more recently, as the Head of People for a technology company.
Through the combination of his extensive search experience and his recent HR roles Paul is well-versed in the intricacies of the HR field and can provide valuable insights and guidance and prides himself in delivering a relationship-driven, tailored approach.
Gaurav leads Elliott Scott HR in India; recruiting for senior HR roles across all industries. He recently relocated back to Delhi from Singapore to establish the Elliott Scott HR brand, enabling us to further service our regional and global clients, alongside building new relationships locally.
He is skilled at implementing innovative and cost effective talent acquisition strategies to identify and attract the best passive candidates. Bringing a consultative and solutions driven approach Gaurav has a knack for ‘finding a needle in a haystack’ and prides himself on his relationship building, stakeholder management and market and competency mapping.
Whilst working for Elliott Scott HR in Singapore Gaurav recruited across South East Asia for the Commerce and Heavy Industries including Consumer Electronics, Chemicals, Oil & Gas, Engineering and Manufacturing. With a career spanning 12 years, Gaurav is an internationally experienced in-house and agency talent acquisition partner.
Emily joined Elliott Scott HR in 2014 as Asia COO. She spent two years working closely with our teams in Hong Kong and Singapore to grow the business and was instrumental to the launch of our Japan office. In October 2016 Emily relocated to London taking on the COO role globally for all Elliott Scott HR offices. She works closely with Stuart and the management team to drive strategy, business performance and operations.
Prior to moving to Hong Kong to join Elliott Scott, Emily’s career took her from the UK to Singapore and Australia. She has experience working in a broad spectrum of HR roles, and a variety of different industries, enabling a sound understanding of client and candidate needs. Emily's previous roles include: Head of HR for a private investment business, Human Capital Consultant for Mercer, Talent Management for Fujitsu Australia and HR Business Partner for Fujitsu UK.
Anthony is an experienced CFO who has operated internationally in Asia Pacific, the Middle East and North Africa, Europe and the Americas. He has extensive management experience, with more than 20 years at the board level. He is a certified ACMA management accountant, a certified Prince2 project manager and a trained quality auditor.
Sylvia was born in Hong Kong, she then studied and worked in the US, graduating with a B.B.A in Marketing from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Sylvia’s background spans across 20 years in East to West Export and managing contracts with major retailers, client services and project management.
In April 2021, Sylvia joined the Elliott Scott Group as the Finance and Admin Officer for Asia, where she is based in Hong Kong. Her role includes providing financial and administrative support for the colleagues and clients of all brands associated with the group.
Amy joined Elliott Scott HR in 2016 as a Researcher, responsible for providing extensive sourcing, assistance and marketing skills in supporting the growing Hong Kong office. She then progressed to Regional Researcher & Admin Lead for APAC with her role stretching across global accounts, overseeing the global research team as well as managing the India admin function. Which in turn has led her to receive a promotion and become the Group Research & Operations Manager.
Bringing an energetic flare with her prior experience in office admin, recruitment and digital marketing she offers all round support to enable the best performance for all parts of Elliott Scott HR.
Sneh is the Group HR & Operations Advisor for Elliott Scott Group. Her role encompasses internal HR operations and she is responsible for implementing and maintaining the HRIS software, BambooHR.
Sneh joined Elliott Scott HR in March 2021 and brings an experience in implementing HR solutions for start-ups, with knowledge of the full spectrum of the HR function.
When not at work Sneh is a doting mother and enjoys a good workout to kick start her day. After taking a career break to look after her daughter, she is happy to be back pursuing her career alongside her family.
Hannah is based in our London office and joined the Elliott Scott Group in 2021 as a Marketing Intern, progressing to Group Marketing Assistant. Hannah works across the Elliott Scott Group brands and supports our six global offices with their marketing; assisting with social media postings, running Elliott Scott HR’s Instagram that promotes their company culture, content creation, events, email campaigns, podcasts and much more.
This is Hannah’s first job within the Marketing sector, as a recent graduate Hannah studied BA Hons Event Management at Bournemouth University with a specialism in Digital Marketing, she is looking forward to continuing her journey with the Elliott Scott Group and building her career.
Amy joined the Elliott Scott Group as a Marketing Intern and has since progressed to Group Marketing Assistant based in our London office but assisting the wider global team. She works with the marketing team to create content, social media posts, podcasts, email campaigns and more for all brands associated with the Elliott Scott Group.
Amy studied Fine Art at Lancaster University, graduating in 2021 and is excited to use these skills to add creativity to upcoming campaigns and develop further knowledge about the world of marketing.
Clarisse Suganuma holds a degree in Psychology and have been working with recruitment since 2018. She worked in HR area for Telecom and Education companies. In her professional background, she experienced: strategic mapping, screening and interviewing specialists for a wide range of skills and levels.
She joined Yoctoo operation in order to strength company strategy to build a large network and represent the best Tech and Digital candidates in Latam and has now moved to Group to support our team in Brazil.
